Become a Chef!

Week course. 25 hours. For all levels.

Arla puts on a cook’s toque for a week. We invite local chefs to prepare fish, vegetables, meat or desserts… seasoned with a bit of grammar. We practise French while cooking, with special exercises matched to each recipe.

A full meal is prepared and shared every day. The conversation continues around the lunch table. In the space of only a week, you discover and prepare about thirty dishes, ranging from simple to stunning.

At your side, Arla’s teachers help put each stage into words and sentences, to improve and enrich your French.

Written memos, personalised to work on your specific linguistic needs, help remember the recipes, the new vocabulary and the grammar acquired in the kitchen.

Included:

  • Five full lunches
  • A visit to the local market where we pick our fresh produce.
  • Meetings with professionals: chefs, pastry chefs, chocolatiers, fishermen, oyster farmers…
  • A fun evening to learn more about French cuisine.
