Enjoy movies and learn French! That’s what we do at Arla where we share these two passions, languages and cinema. During this week-long course, your teachers will be Jean Gabin, Benoît Poelvoorde or Catherine Deneuve. They will inspire and guide you through the language, while our own teachers set learning goals and methods.
A filmmaker is introduced every day. We watch, analyse and discuss excerpts from their different movies. Games, quizzes and exercises help practise speaking and writing skills focused around the films presented.
You explore some twenty movies in a week, from classics to the latest releases. Your French and your film culture grow together hand in hand. Inbetween classes, our film library invites you to discover more works.
Included:
- Meetings with filmmakers and film historians
- Presentation of films shot around the Bassin d’Arcachon
- An evening outing to a cinema
